Light Up Ice Luminary Take Home Kits

Visitor & Heritage Information Centre (10 Father David Bauer Dr, Waterloo)

One of the key features of Winterloo each year is hands on engagement with the arts. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic we’re not able to hold our normal Winterloo festival, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get that hands on experience.

Our friend Agnes from Mindful Makers has created a take home kit for you to bring a little piece of Winterloo home with you.

Make your own ice luminary! This mini kit comes with a string of battery powered lights, balloons and video instructions to create a simple frozen ice lantern at home.

Bonus video content includes an exclusive interview with local snow sculptor Matt Morris of Snowbank Productions. Learn about how you can make snow sculptures in your own yard this winter.

Be sure to pick up your free Ice Luminary Kit from the booth outside of the Visitor & Heritage Information Centre (10 Father David Bauer Dr, Waterloo).
